The company was founded on 10 October 2020 and responds to the increasing demand from (institutional) investors for an independent adviser in the field of real estate. The office of GRREY is centrally located in the Randstad, in the city of Leiden.
In 2010 Remco founded GRREY Company. In addition to a passion for Real Estate, he has extensive experience in the Real Estate sector and the world of pension funds and insurance companies. He could often be found in boardrooms and meeting rooms, but perhaps just as often visiting customers and partners, or on location to inspect the bricks.
After completing his study Econometrics with a master’s degree in Financial Econometrics at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Remco started his career at an investment bank in Amsterdam that pioneered in fiduciary management in the Netherlands. Later in his career, he switched to a management role at one of the world’s largest brokerage firms. In addition, he has always looked for a challenge outside of his daily activities and was (and is) actively involved in various industry associations such as INREV and CFA Society VBA Netherlands.
Remco is also socially involved through various projects, amongst others his volunteer work for the Roman Catholic Parish HH. Petrus end Paulus in Leiden.

Ilse joined GRREY Company as a partner in 2021. Besides a passion for Real Estate, she has strong affinity for sustainability. Hence, she is mainly engaged as Impact advisor for (institutional) investors.
After graduating from her master in Economics, she started her career at one of the world’s largest brokerage firm in the field of direct transactions, valuations and capital raising for real estate funds. During her work with capital raising she experienced the increasing demand for Impact investments and simultaneously founded a new service focused on ESG/Impact Investing advice. Among other things, she assisted an existing relation to create the first pan-European Residential Impact Fund in the market.
In addition, she worked for world’s largest multi-manager where she gained insight into the world of indirect real estate investments from an institutional investor perspective.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and eager to learn university student with an architectural, economic and / or financial background. You are immediately part of the team. so getting coffee is not part of your job.
You will work on various real estate issues such as: advising on real estate developments, financial modelling, strategic impact advice, strategic investment advice, assisting with sales processes, etc.
